One thing I’m really excited to work with is burnout. This encompasses the classic ‘adrenal fatigue’, which is now known as ‘HPA axis dysfunction’, and also the energy, motivation and mood effects that follow.
We live in a society that values productivity, hard work without a break, and constantly being on, but when we continue and persist at this pace without breaks and downtime our health can really suffer. For women especially, the balance between family, career, health, hormones and all of life’s responsibilities can become overwhelming.
