After more than two decades working with women through hormonal and metabolic changes, one pattern became clear: the women who moved through menopause with strength were the ones who built their foundations early.
Metabolic health sits at the center of everything - energy, mood, body composition, brain function, and long-term health. When it’s unstable, menopause feels chaotic. When it’s supported, the transition is far more manageable.
Movement is one of the most powerful tools we have. Consistent strength-building and insulin-sensitizing movement that protects muscle, stabilizes blood sugar, supports the brain, and preserves independence.
These foundations - muscle, metabolic health, and nervous system resilience - shape how a woman experiences menopause far more than most people realize.
This understanding impacted the direction of my work. It led to Million Women Moving, and to the Unstoppable at Any Age podcast - both created to help women protect their future health with the right information and a clear plan.
This work is not about fighting aging. We're building capacity, so women move forward strong, capable, and in control.
